My name is Abigail Kingsmore (but please, call me Abby!) and I am an alumna of Clemson University, with a B.S. in Packaging Science, emphasis in Design and certificate in Business Anthropology. I truly love connecting with people and being creative!
As an avid sunset chaser, adventure seeker, and open-space enthusiast, I have a deep love for the outdoors. I was born in a small town, raised on my family's cattle farm and I cherish my grandparent's good southern cookin'. I have always expressed myself through my creativity, whether photography, design, crafts, singing or playing piano.
My interest in photography sparked when I was in the 7th grade and my mom (the yearbook advisor) asked me to help her tackle the school's yearbook. There was not a designated class or group, so she would hand me the camera and trust me to capture sports, events, etc. I would enjoy the thrill of it - climbing on chairs, reaching over people, never letting go of the trigger, all to get the perfect shot. Then I would get back to her room quickly to upload the images so we could begin working on the layout of the yearbook.
From there, I always played around with photography, and purchased my first DSLR in 2017. As the designated friend group photographer, and through volunteering at organization events and other opportunities, I've slowly developed my vision and style. Diving into graphic design with no real training (other than the middle school yearbook), I created digital art pieces for two organizations. I enjoy the challenge of creating with meaning and purpose.
Capturing Creation is my tagline and it is my desire to do just that. Visualize, capture, and share creation through my lens, through the eyes and heart that the Lord has so graciously given me - that is my number one goal.
Let's work together on your next idea, project, event, or need!
